Session 5 of Yoga
This week marked the conclusion of our highly successful yoga sessions with the talented Mrs. Adams. The pupils have benefited immensely from her instruction, demonstrating significant progress in flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Mrs. Adams’s structured yet playful approach allowed children to learn complex yoga techniques in a supportive and engaging environment. Her patience and dedication were truly remarkable, and her ability to foster a love for yoga in young learners is commendable. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Adams for her exceptional work and the positive contribution she has made to our pupils' well-being.
Wellbeing Week
During our recent Wellbeing Week, our dedicated Student Council worked diligently to create a memorable and engaging experience for the entire school community. Here's a look back at the week's activities:
Monday: Games Day. The week kicked off with a fun-filled Games Day, where students participated in various interactive games, fostering teamwork and laughter.
Tuesday: Yoga. Tuesday provided a calming and restorative experience with a yoga session, promoting mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
Wednesday: WOW Day (Walk on Wednesday). On Wednesday, students embraced the outdoors with our WOW Day, enjoying a refreshing walk and emphasising the importance of physical activity.
Thursday: Outdoor Activities on the Grass. Thursday's activities took place on the grass, allowing students to enjoy the fresh air and engage in outdoor games and activities, promoting physical activity and connection with nature.
Friday: Uniform Free Day and Morning Fun on the Yard. The week concluded with a relaxed Uniform Free Day, followed by a morning of fun and games on the yard, creating a joyful and celebratory atmosphere.

Session 3 of Yoga
Session 3 of Yoga with Mrs. Adams proved to be another enriching experience for our pupils, fostering both physical and mental well-being. This session built upon the foundational poses and breathing techniques learned previously, introducing more challenging flows and mindfulness exercises. The pupils demonstrated increased flexibility, balance, and focus, while also learning valuable stress-reduction strategies. Mrs. Adams's gentle guidance and positive encouragement created a supportive and calming atmosphere, allowing our pupils of all levels to participate and benefit. The session culminated in a relaxing meditation, leaving the pupils feeling refreshed and centred, ready to tackle the challenges of the school week.

Our second yoga session with Mrs. Adams was a resounding success! The children are clearly loving the experience, as evidenced by their joyful expressions and focused postures in these photos and the accompanying video. From practicing deep breathing exercises to mastering challenging yoga poses, they are embracing the physical and mental benefits of yoga with enthusiasm. We are thrilled to witness their growth and dedication as they continue on this wellness journey.
Yoga with Mrs. Adams
Yoga is a vital wellbeing activity for our students this year. They loved their first session with Mrs. Adams, learning and practicing a variety of yoga poses. The children really enjoyed the session and it was a great way to relax, and it will also help them to improve their flexibility, balance, and coordination. We are grateful to Mrs. Adams for sharing her passion for yoga with our students.
