Mission Statement

It is Scoil Naomh Mhuire’s mission to enable each pupil to realise her/his full potential, intellectually, spiritually, morally, socially, artistically, technically and physically, in active co-operation with the principal educator of each child, the parent or guardian.

It will endeavour to achieve this overall objective in an atmosphere that is nurturing, not only of the individual intelligence of each pupil, but also the pupil’s personal, mental, psychological, technical, artistic and physical abilities.

Within its resources, the highest standards of achievement will be encouraged so as to develop an independent, self-confident and well-rounded human being capable of further learning.

Within its Catholic ethos, the school will welcome pupils, irrespective of creed, colour, ethnicity or orientation.

The school recognises and values the contributions of other agencies too, the local community and athletic, artistic, educational or other formative organisations to which the pupil may belong.
