A Special Milestone – First Confession

We are so proud of our 2nd Class girls who celebrated their First Confession this week. Congratulations to Grace, Áine and Cleo, who took this important step in their faith journey with reverence and joy.

It was a beautiful occasion, filled with reflection, prayer, and a sense of peace. The girls have been learning about forgiveness, kindness, and God's love throughout the year, and this ceremony marked a meaningful moment for them and their families.

Well done to all involved, and thank you to Canon Duhig who helped prepare the children so well for this special day.

At Scoil Naomh Mhuire, we believe that maths is a fascinating subject that can be learned through fun and engaging activities. That's why our junior pupils have been exploring the new primary maths curriculum through hands-on learning experiences.

From building towers and measuring their heights to sorting and counting colourful objects, our young learners are discovering the joy of maths in a playful and interactive way. These activities help them develop essential mathematical skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and spatial awareness.
