Bí Cineálta-Procedures to Prevent and Address Bullying Behaviour for Primary and Post Primary Schools
We are pleased to announce the introduction of the new Bí Cinéalta procedures, designed to prevent and address bullying behaviour across both primary and post-primary schools. These updated procedures, which will come into effect from the next school year 2025/2026, emphasise creating a positive and supportive environment where all students feel safe and valued. With a focus on promoting kindness, respect, and inclusion, the Bí Cinéalta initiative encourages proactive approaches to prevent bullying and provides clear, effective steps to address any incidents that may arise.
We are committed to ongoing improvement and are currently reviewing and updating our anti-bullying procedures. In the coming weeks, we will be engaging in a collaborative process with students, staff, and parents to gather input and develop comprehensive policies that effectively address bullying and promote a positive school climate. We will share updates on this important initiative as they become available.

Our Anti-Bullying Policy, specially adapted in a child-friendly version by Bi Cinealta, reflects this commitment. Their voices were central to shaping this document, ensuring it speaks directly to the experiences and concerns of our pupils. Because we value the understanding and ownership of this policy by all students, you'll find it displayed prominently in every classroom, serving as a constant reminder of our collective responsibility to create a school where everyone feels valued and safe.
